Return Policy

I) General Terms and conditions of jarringeffects(net).

A) Applicability

The present General Terms and Conditions shall apply exclusively to all business relations between Jarring Effects from here on referred to as JFX) and its purchaser. Provisions differing from those indicated in our General Terms and Conditions cannot be accepted unless agreed on by JFX and the purchaser in writing, in individual cases.

B) Contract Conclusion

1. An incoming order (via email) to JFX constitutes an offer to conclude a sales contract with JFX.

2. The sales contract between JFX and the purchaser shall exclusively be brought about if JFX dispatches the ordered goods to the purchaser. The consignment will be sent to the last address that the purchaser has given to JFX. A contract will not be concluded for any goods that have been ordered but that are not included in the consignment. The contractual partners are the purchaser and JFX.

3. By purchasing goods via JFX Bandcamp you agree with these terms.

C) Payment, Maturity and Default

1. The purchaser can execute payment via Paypal.
2. In case of failed payment, the penalty fee will be assumed by the customer.
3. The amount invoiced is due for payment on receipt of the invoice which is attached to the delivered goods.

D) Reservation of Ownership

Until complete payment of the sales price has been effected, the delivered goods shall remain the property of JFX.

E) Prices

All prices in the webshop are including the legal rate of French VAT in force on the day of the order.

F) Invalid Clauses

The inoperativeness of one or several provisions of said General Conditions does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In such case a provision is applicable which meets best the legal and economic aim of the inoperative provision. This does not apply in case complying with the terms of the Contract would constitute unreasonable hardship for one or both of the Parties.


II) Shipping Policy

All Shipping prices on JFX Bandcamp is with French s’post services named “Colissimo” for France and Delvingo For Europe & Rest of the World, including track & trace system that makes your parcel unique (www.colissimo.fr/portail_colissimo/suivre.do?language=fr_FR).Use the number we sent to you by email when your purchase is confirmed to know at any time your parcel’s delivery status in the postal network. For packages that are not cashed at your post office within 14 days, JFX reserves the right to charge you a handling fee to cover return shipping and freight companies' administrative costs.

In the case if you don't received your package, and according to the reason of a non delivery package (e.g : The address is wrong ; the postal service lost the parcel). JFX is not liable and the additionnal fees for a second delivery will be pay by the customer, not JFX. In the case of lost due to the postal service, JFX will help you as much as they can to recover the parcel but JFX can't be responsible for the losse of your parcel.

Current prices for shipping are listed below - Delivery typically takes 2-5 business days for France; 7-14 business days for Europe and 14-28 business days for Rest of the world.

Notice that the post fees can increase and JFX is not liable if the cost indicate below are no longer current.

To France:

(Pick up in Lyon area also possible)

From France To Europe :

500 Gram - 1kg – 9 EUR

From France To ROW :

500 Gram - 1kg – 10 EUR

III) Return policy

Return Condition& Refund

You can return the product within 30 days of delivery. Customer must pay for shipping to and from, unless the item is exchanged due to a defect or shipping error on our part, in this case, the easiest way is to e-mail it to us along with a brief description of your case and a picture.

Also, to obtain a refund, the product must be in new condition. If the product is ruined or used, the product shall not be refunded. Make sure to include contact information with the return and if possible, please provide us with a tracking number. JFX suggests you get a receipt and a package ID for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if needed.

JFX will make a refund of eligible returns but buyer receives a full refund in their original payment method less any shipping charges. If you paid by invoice, we will need a bank account number to transfer the money back to.

Returning A Package & post fees: If a returned item is shipped international, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS', to avoid any Customs charges. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer. Furthermore, the purchaser is obliged to pay the usual costs of the return consignment. All goods that are returned are the responsibility of the customer and you may wish to send goods by registered post.

IV) Liability

- JFX is NOT responsible for any return Customs charges made
- In case of a return, JFX is not liable for goods that do not reach us


About Damages: JFX cannot be held responsible for damaged goods inflicted by the postal services. Should there be a problem or damage to the vinyl you buy from us then please inform within 3 days of receiving the parcel with a description and/or picture to highlighting the issue, there is an insurance with the service postal we used.

Note: Refunds are not offered for minor cosmetic damage.

About loss goods: We sent all of our goods with the service postal “Colissimo” which include a track and trace system and require a proof of Delivery. If we received the notice that your package has been delivery by the postal service at your address, the postmark will prevail and it won’t be possible to have a refund.

V) Applicable Law

French law is applicable, irrespective of the purchaser’s seat or domicile to avoid any difficulty pertinent to the law applicable to the contract, it will be reputed to have been concluded in France. Any dispute shall be submitted to the arbitration of the French Court


VI) Data Protection

Personal data that JFX has collected and recorded pertaining to the purchasers, solely serve the purpose of handling and processing the order, including the realization of delivery or sales price, as well as the pursuance of any further claims that may result from this. At no time we will reveal your personal data to any third party, and you can always request information about your data saved in our system.

Furthermore, when a purchase is done, Bandcamp collect and sent your personal Data to us in order to build a mailing list. If you do not approve that your personal data are used for our mailing list, please sent us an e-mail and in accordance with ACT N°78-17 OF 6 JANUARY 1978 ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, DATA FILES AND CIVIL LIBERTIES, we will delete your personal data immediately.
