Sign that the sunny days are approaching, Sibot & Spoek return to squat your turntables at the end of April with a new delivery. It is in 2006 through the Cape Town Beats box that Sibot marks the spirits by signing two singular albums and abounding. In the process, he formed Playdoe with his compatriot Spoek, duo who will immediately talk about him with a first eponymous vinyl where booty bass and breaks get off the hook on a background of old school aesthetics. Hailed by critics, this wind of fresh air from South Africa then engulfed in Europe to frenzy dancefloors based on samples, scratches, mpc, vocoder and flow of high fly. Meanwhile, Playdoe has also found time to collaborate with Starkey - one of the leaders in the dubstep scene - and concoct Jarring Effects a vinyl EP in the bins next March. Four titles that are linked in a masterful way and you embark on a great eight sound made of Ghetto house, break and hip hop led by the charismatic MC Spoek Mathambo. Finally, know that they will be in Europe again and in France in April with a passage in Printemps de Bourges that you are promised explosive.
